About the Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts
As a non-profit organization, the Weill Center provides one-of-a-kind experiences for all ages by providing live performances in its beautifully preserved historic theater.
On October 7, 1996, the Weill Center Foundation, Inc. was established for the preservation and restoration of the Sheboygan Theater. On October 13, (15 years ago), the theater re-opened as the Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts. Since the Weill Center historic theater is also home to several local performing art groups including the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra, Sheboygan Area Youth Symphony and the Sheboygan Concert Association.
The theater receives no public funding, but relies solely upon the earned income and donations from generous corporations, foundations, families, individuals, and an amazing group of more than one hundred volunteers.
