Sheboygan County hosts The Selection Finale for the 61st Alice in Dairyland. Sheboygan County will have the honor to host this special event for the first time with the State of Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection.

Highlights of the Finale include: a three-minute speech by each Finalist; a 60-second talk about a local agribusiness tour by each candidate; a farewell presentation by the current Alice; the Secretary of Agriculture announcing the new Alice; and special entertainment. You don't want to miss this unique family-oriented event!

Movie; Ben Hur
Friday, June 20, 2008 - 07:00pm
Released December 10, 1959 won 10 Oscars. Ben Hur, a Tale of the Christ, was hugely popular as a novel, a play and two movies. It was written in a less vulgar time about a very spiritual event. Renowned for playing a long list of historical figures, particularly in Biblical epics, the tall, well built and ruggedly handsome Charlton Heston is one of Hollywood's greatest leading men and remained active in front of movie cameras for over sixty years. With features chiseled in stone, who else but Charlton Heston could you picture as Michelangelo, as Ben-Hur, as Moses? Heston's movie career took off with The Greatest Show on Earth (1952) and reached light speed with Ben-Hur (1959). He has played a pantheon of larger-than-life roles.

Tickets available at the Weill Center Ticket Office or by phone 920-208-3243 Tickets $5.00, $4.00 for members of Community Bank & Trust's Community Plus Club.

Event sponsored by Every Third Friday 4:00 & 7:00 p.m.

They travel through time doing some interesting research for their history presentation, and generally being excellent to each other. Rated PG
